The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, with a strong focus on business development and growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, managing key stakeholders, and ensuring the effective delivery of projects within budget and time constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Project Services team
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and development
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Administer contracts and ensure project costs are managed within approved budgets
- Operate as a senior specialist in project and development management
- Provide presentations, workshops, and reports to stakeholders
- Manage, assess, and review the standards of work and deliverables of staff, project consultants, and contractors
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience managing complex development projects on behalf of the owner/client
- A bachelor's degree in business, construction management, architecture, or engineering, or other relevant discipline
- A QBCC license as a Builder - Project Management Services (or equivalent), or the ability to obtain this licensure within 12 months
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
- Experience conducting economic and financial analysis for business case profitability
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
