Program Overview

The St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Toowoomba IHRF Program. This is a key leadership role that requires effective coordination of service delivery, accountability for client outcomes, and responsibility for the management and outputs of employees within the line management chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service delivery and ensure effective management of program outputs
  • Accountable for client outcomes and responsible for the management and outputs of employees within the line management chain
  • Provide leadership and support to employees, including human resources and financial management, quality assurance, risk management, and reporting
  • Develop and implement program strategies and initiatives to achieve program outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, employees, and external partners, to achieve program objectives

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, social sciences, or a related discipline
  • Minimum five years' industry experience working with clients in crisis, including holistic person-centred case management frameworks
  • Demonstrated program coordination and leadership skills, including human resources and financial management, quality assurance, risk management, and reporting
  • Previous experience as a coordinator of equivalent senior position with accountability for operational outcomes and direct reports
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge, skills, and experience in holistic complex case management that is client-centred
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge, skills, and experience in individualized strengths-based planning and support service delivery
  • Competent skills in the use of technology, including Microsoft applications and databases
  • Knowledge of and ability to work within relevant funding guidelines and legislative requirements relating to the delivery of program outcomes and safety and risk
  • Ability to inspire and lead a small team, including well-developed interpersonal, communication, IT, and organisation skills
  • Current Class C Drivers' Licence is required
  • COVID-19 vaccination status is recommended for this role but not a mandatory requirement
  • Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society
