Facility Maintenance Role

This position involves ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of a facility, providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Applicants should have prior experience in cleaning, preferably in commercial or healthcare settings, or be eager to learn and grow with our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet all cleaning requirements each shift, adhering to established protocols and schedules.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner, promoting a sense of community and well-being.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission.
  • Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and schedules.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A positive attitude and compassionate approach to elderly residents.
  • Understanding and adherence to infection control practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
