This role provides a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in enhancing Australia's national security interests and delivering on key international commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and deliver comprehensive change strategies for multi-year, multi-phase programs focused on improving passport security and integrity in the Pacific region.
  • Lead dedicated teams of experts and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve key government objectives.
  • Effectively manage program risks and issues, ensuring timely deliverables and milestones are met.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and governance forums, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong background in change management, including strategy development and implementation within complex projects.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams independently, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively under broad direction.
  • Cultural awareness and experience working on culturally sensitive projects, engaging diverse teams and stakeholders respectfully.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to think strategically, assess risks, and develop innovative solutions.
