About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Officer to join our team at Leighton Asia. As a Cybersecurity Officer, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our cybersecurity framework, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the ACSC Essential 8, including patching applications and operating systems, application control, and restricting Microsoft Office macros.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cybersecurity is integrated into all aspects of our business.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, and provide guidance on their implementation and management.
Requirements
  • A tertiary or vocational education qualification in Cyber Security, ICT, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Specialist knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, including ACSC's Essential 8, ISM, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.
  • A security clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) or the ability to obtain one.
