- Join an assembled team to tackle cyber security capability for the Department.**About the role**:
In this role you will help implement the ACSC Essential 8 including:
- patch operating systems
- multi-factor authentication
- restrict administrative privileges
- restrict Microsoft Office macros
- regular backups
Our broad banding across ICT 1 means we are considering a wide range of skills for this position.

**Hours per fortnight**:
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
**Period of appointment**:
36 months.
**Desirable requirements**:
- A tertiary or vocational education qualification in Cyber Security, ICT, Information Management or experience to a similar level.
- Specialist knowledge and expertise in cyber security frameworks e.g. ACSC’s Essential 8 and ISM, ISO 27001, NIST CSF 2, etc.
- A security clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) or the ability to obtain one.
- Current driver’s licence.
