Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned patent litigator (7+ years PQE) to join our highly respected IP practice in Sydney. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters, from IP strategy and advice to major pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical device, mining and engineering, and technology patent cases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice on IP matters to clients across various industries;
- Manage complex patent litigation cases autonomously, working closely with clients and other stakeholders;
- Draft and review high-quality legal documents, including patents, contracts, and court submissions;
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective IP strategies for clients;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in patent law and best practices.
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in patent litigation and related areas;
- A strong background in science, preferably with a degree in a relevant field;
- Excellent analytical, written, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- A collaborative approach, with a willingness to work as part of a team and think independently;
- A client-focused mindset, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent results.
