About the Role:

We are seeking a senior patent litigator (7+ PQE) to join our highly regarded, successful and rapidly growing IP practice in our Sydney office.

This is a chance to work closely with one of Australia's leading IP partners - Ben Miller in a genuinely collaborative culture which values excellence, integrity, teamwork and respect for the value of the individual and of diversity.

With a dedicated sector focus on healthcare and technology, you will work on a variety of matters from IP strategy and advice to major pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical device, mining and engineering and technology patent cases, to IP licensing and commercialisation work, including for some of Australia's most prestigious research institutes.

About you:

  • Have at least 7 years PQE in patent litigation, and related advice and/or commercialisation work
  • Have a strong background in science
  • Be able to manage matters autonomously
  • Be able to demonstrate strong written, analytical & drafting skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage your work load
  • Also have a client focus, be comfortable working as part of a team and thinking independently
