Job Description:

The Central Coast is a thriving region with excellent opportunities for economic growth and development. We are seeking a skilled Waste Management Coordinator to join our team.

As a Waste Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering key services in waste and resource recovery for the local community. Your role will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and increase efficiencies.

Key activities of this role include effectively undertaking management of procurement and delivery of works or services, tonnage and financial reconciliations, and collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting statistical information associated with the operation of Council's waste facilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree qualifications or experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience in the waste management industry
  • Understanding of contract and project management principles
  • Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and present statistical information
