We are seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team in Woolloongabba.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic individual to implement and deliver lifestyle programs and social calendars, assess and individualise lifestyle plans and social needs for residents, lead and develop a small team of Lifestyle Assistants and Volunteers, develop a wide range of activities in consultation with residents and family members, engage with community groups to build a network of support and social partners, identify new and meaningful events to keep residents engaged, and promote our values of Bold, Warm, and Honest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and deliver lifestyle programs and social calendars
  • Assess and individualise lifestyle plans and social needs for residents
  • Lead and develop a small team of Lifestyle Assistants and Volunteers
  • Develop a wide range of activities in consultation with residents and family members
  • Engage with community groups to build a network of support and social partners
  • Identify new and meaningful events to keep residents engaged

Reporting to [Position], you will be working closely with the leadership team to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of living in aged care.

You will have the autonomy to design and deliver programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in Aged Care
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Qualifications in Lifestyle and Leisure or Diversion Therapy
  • A person-centred focus and commitment to providing a high level of service
  • Experience working with people living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s highly regarded
  • Computer and documentation skills
  • Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday
