Job Description">

Establish a pool of skilled professionals to support student engagement and behaviour management in a collaborative learning environment. Provide high-level consultancy to school staff, establishing effective working relationships to improve student outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing individual case management plans for K-12 students with complex needs
  • Creating safe and supportive learning environments
  • Providing professional learning and development opportunities to engage colleagues and parents

Desirable qualifications and skills include knowledge of functional behaviour assessment, special educational needs planning, social and emotional learning programs, trauma-informed practice, positive behaviour support, and therapeutic crisis intervention strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

Applicants must hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration, be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

Additional requirements include:

  • A current WA drivers' licence
  • The ability to travel to schools within the Great Southern region and attend associated training and school development days
