Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Learning specialist to join our dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate lessons and learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate lessons and learning experiences, including working with individuals or small groups.
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain the learning environment, materials, and equipment.
  • Assist with classroom management, student routines, wellbeing, and minor first aid.
  • Observe and document student learning and behaviour, providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Collaborate with specialists to apply strategies for individual student needs.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment by modelling positive behaviour and following established Behaviour Management Policy.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, staff, and other professionals.

  • Ability to act with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
