Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished pastry professional to fill this key role in our dynamic bakery environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled baker with plant experience to contribute to the production of high-quality pastry products and work collaboratively as part of a passionate team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Produce a variety of pastry and cake products using trade skills and knowledge of plant operations.
  • Setup and monitor production to optimize quality, minimize waste, and achieve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HACCP quality and safety protocols while meeting production targets.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on continuous improvement initiatives and team effectiveness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area by adhering to health and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will bring the following essential ingredients:

  • A trade qualification or at least 5 years relevant experience in a plant-based bakery environment.
  • A solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) principles and Quality Management practices.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
  • A passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
