Baker Bleu is seeking to hire a full-time Pick & Packer to work in its Caulfield North location.

Baker Bleu is Melbourne's premier artisan bakery. We have a reputation for making unique artisan pastry and baking products using only the finest ingredients and dedication to the natural wonder of sourdough. We are suppliers to other high-profile restaurants such as, Cumulus Inc, Gimlet, Cutler & Co., Rockpool, Cittas & Carlton Wine Room. We have an excellent reputation in our local communities and work with well-known charity groups in Melbourne.

About The Role

This role is a full-time packer position working from 12am-8am. This position requires enthusiasm, an eagerness and willingness to learn and take direction, teamwork, and co-operation with fellow production team members.

Principal Responsibility

The principal responsibility of this role is to pick and pack. A successful employee will have respect, take pride in learning and perfecting the packing process.

The Following Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Thorough understanding of the bread picking and packing process. Support and assist all members of your team whenever and wherever possible.
  • Execution of the packing orders in a timely and accurate manner for each day.
  • Assisting in the preparation and pack down for following days packing production.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you should have previous experience in a packing preferably bakery packing. Baker Bleu can offer the ideal highly competitive above award wages, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression. We pay retail award rates & penalty rates; the salary is an indicative equivalent.
