We are seeking an experienced trades assistant to support the assembly and distribution of equipment for a leading industrial solutions provider.
- The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, experience in trade assistance, and a strong work ethic.
This is a full-time position offering a great working environment, temp to perm opportunity, and access to professional development. Our team is committed to providing a supportive atmosphere and ensuring all employees are looked after in accordance with Australian Fair Work standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipe Preparation: Paint and prepare pipes for distribution, ensuring proper coating and finishing.
- Equipment Assembly: Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, drill, and assemble recycling chute equipment.
- Maintain Workspace: Maintain an organised workspace to ensure a steady workflow.
- Packaging: Pick and pack products accurately according to order requirements.
- Warehouse Duties: Assist with general warehouse duties, including loading and unloading materials.
- Safety Standards: Maintain a clean and organised work area to uphold safety standards.
- Forklift Licence – beneficial
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Previous mechanical assembly / trade assistant experience - essential
- A reliable and punctual work ethic
