Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our team in Sydney. As a Tradesperson, you will assist qualified technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs of vehicles and equipment.

Duties:

  • Assist technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform basic welding tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Receive, stock, pickup, and deliver spare parts.
  • Pack freight and assist with freight deliveries.
  • Assist with general yard/workshop and equipment cleaning and maintenance.
  • Support store duties when required.
  • Perform other general, non-trades services as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and develop.
  • High school certificate or equivalent; one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
  • Previous mechanical experience is highly desirable.
  • Welding experience is highly regarded.
  • Current national Manual "C" class driver's license; and
  • "MR" class driver's license is desirable.
