Mechanical Fitters | Shutdown Roster Opportunity

Join our skilled maintenance team to provide safe, high-quality work on shutdown rosters.

Based in East Pilbara, Western Australia, you will be working on various sites performing tasks that include maintaining fixed plant rotating equipment, following specific maintenance strategies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a trade certificate in mechanical fitting or equivalent, experience in fixed plant rotating equipment, and skills in rigging and conveyor systems. Additionally, knowledge of lubrication and hydraulic systems would be an advantage.

About the Role
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of Fixed Plant Rotating Equipment including Pulleys, Gearboxes & Electrical drive Motors
  • Following specific maintenance strategies and procedures
  • Ensuring that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed
  • Work Methodology Scoping & Updating of work instructions
  • Sharing experience as a subject matter expert to improve team capability
About You
  • Requirements:
  • Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in Fixed Plant Rotating Equipment such as Pulleys, Gearboxes & Electrical Motors
  • Experience in Rigging and specifically on conveyor systems
  • Experience with, and/or a fundamental understanding of lubrication & hydraulic systems desirable
