Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Group Fitness Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Group Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing your team, promoting group fitness initiatives, and increasing member engagement.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated and experienced Group Fitness professional with a strong track record in management and team leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and develop talented Group Fitness Instructors
  • Manage and timetable up to 100 classes weekly
  • Coach and motivate new instructors to achieve their full potential
  • Build a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Organize and market engaging group classes
  • Maintain high-energy, focused, and professional classes
  • Manage budgets and prepare insightful reports
  • Act as a role model and brand ambassador
  • Deliver exceptional member experiences at all touchpoints
  • Foster a safe and healthy work environment by following Work Health and Safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Group Fitness Instructor (Les Mills or studio style preferred)
  • Previous management experience in a health club or gym environment
  • Registration with Fitness Australia
  • First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Cert III in Group Exercise Instruction
