Plant Servicing Specialist

Lead the effective management of plant servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns across a high-voltage transmission fleet.

  • Coordinate and oversee daily servicing and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers to schedule support and repairs for plant equipment.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate local services for tyres and other essential items.
  • Set up and induct subcontractor support for various tasks, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
  • E nsure operational readiness through proactive problem-solving and strong safety culture promotion.
  • Oversee compliance for classified plant, including regular inspections and reporting.
  • Maintain and manage industrial winches and vehicle loading cranes (VLCs), ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Trade background preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of plant compliance, maintenance scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Experience with industrial winches and VLCs, as well as familiarity with related safety procedures.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Safety-first mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple stakeholders, prioritising task delivery and deadlines.
