We are seeking a mechanical plant and equipment specialist to join our bidding team in Sydney.

  • This role will provide engineering support for ongoing bidding and project start-up activities.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical engineering, with knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to plant and equipment procurement and operation.

  • They should also have relevant work experience (5 years minimum) in bidding, estimating, or project management in major infrastructure and energy sectors.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting bidding and project start-up activities, including engineering feasibility studies and procurement processes
  • Preparing relevant tender returnable schedules and associated technical documentation
  • Driving procurement strategy for key plant and equipment
  • Working with the engineering and construction team to identify and optimize plant and equipment investment strategies
  • Ensuring safety and environmental rules are adhered to and incorporated into P&E tender specifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple bids/projects simultaneously
Main Responsibilities
