Job Opportunity: Assistant Treasurer – Risk and Analytics

This role involves managing treasury reporting and analytics, implementing key treasury systems, and leading strategic projects as required.

  • Manage corporate level financial risks to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Prepare and present treasury governance and risk reports to stakeholders, including the board of directors.
  • Review and update the company's treasury policy and related policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of new treasury management systems, liquidity management systems, and supply chain finance platforms.
  • Provide expert advice on treasury matters, including potential mergers and acquisitions and other growth opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 10 years' experience in a key contributor and/or leadership role within a treasury team of a listed company.
  • Experience across all key areas of treasury markets, operations, and systems, including funding, derivatives, trade finance, and risk assessment and management.
  • Highly numerical and strong proficiency in financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply commercial thinking and judgment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a drive for delivering results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder, transaction, and project management skills to lead projects within the team and for our businesses.
  • Ability to lead the team through change and periods of work intensity.
  • High integrity – hold yourself and the team to the highest standards when dealing with counterparties, and in confidential situations.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
