Job Title: Support Worker for Mental Health and Behavioral Needs

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to assist a participant in the Central Coast area who requires support with mental health and complex behavioral needs.

About the Role:

Ablepoint is looking for someone with a background in mental health and behavior support, who is passionate about helping others live with dignity, independence, and purpose.

As part of our growing support team, you will assist with day-to-day tasks, emotional regulation, and community engagement while promoting a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Implement Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies">
  • Support mental health and emotional regulation">
  • Provide assistance with daily living and personal care">
  • Facilitate community access and social participation">
  • Maintain accurate daily notes and incident reports">

Requirements:

- Prior experience in disability support, mental health, or behavioral support

">

- Calm, patient, and trauma-informed approach

">

- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport

">

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)

">

- First Aid & CPR certification

">

- NDIS Orientation Module and Behavior Support training (or willing to complete)
