Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified support worker to join our team in the Gold Coast area. Our participants require someone who is skilled in supporting others with personal care and domestic duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care and domestic tasks
  • Manage client relationships and provide emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with other support workers and team members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized plans for clients

Requirements:

  • Completed Certificate in Community Services or Mental Health
  • Experience in managing clients with challenging behaviours
  • Strong understanding of supporting clients with high mental health needs
  • Ability to work with diversity, including people who are culturally and linguistically diverse
  • Current driver's license and willingness to use own vehicle (insured and reliable)
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencing
  • Completion of the NDIS Support Worker Orientation Module or willingness to complete prior to commencing
  • Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks

Benefits:

  • Hourly rate $33.76 TFN
  • Casual contract
