Job Description

As a skilled Maintenance Fitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for leading the planning, process development, and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. This will involve managing teams consisting of technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors, and operations personnel to ensure Process stability.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with line leaders to deliver Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale targets, participating in Daily Management systems meetings at the shift and line level.
  • Own the technology and process, having deep technical mastery of equipment and process; Owns PM-Progressive Maintenance systems and work processes, along with Centerline Management systems.
  • Develop, own, and execute preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans, building capability of the team to execute themselves; Build technical and maintenance skills of technicians working in shifts.
  • Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; Responsible for Change Management, localization of spares, proper break-down analysis, and R&M cost reduction.
  • Represent the department as the site technology owner in regional and global technology forums.

About You

We are seeking an experienced individual who can demonstrate:

  • Advanced knowledge and skill to maintain dedicated equipment independently, including AM & PM standards on dedicated equipment and TPM problem-solving tools.
  • The capability to lead a Role for the Line, qualifying and coaching the next level SWP owners, and driving common opportunity areas across the line.
  • The capability to work as the Line Leader, developing and aligning goal/master plan for the line, deploying and managing IDP for members, coaching team members on performance management and career development.
