The Role
This is a leadership role and will manage, motivate and develop a team to achieve quality growth and develop existing business, as well as guide and assist in new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team to achieve quality growth and develop existing business.
- Guide and assist in new business opportunities.
- Focus and mentor the whole team on achieving targets, whether they be sales, design, logistics, production or customer service delivery.
- Have the ability to think outside the square and look at the big picture.
- Possess a hands-on mentality and partake in all aspects of the business with drive and enthusiasm.
- A highly successful background in the food equipment industry or similar ideally with exposure to all aspects of a manufacturing engineering business.
- Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline such as mechanical or electrical engineering or manufacturing.
- A deep understanding of the high demands of the food processing sector, and the importance of delivering quality production outcomes to specification and on time.
- Strong people skills with the ability to motivate and lead an experienced team.
- Commercially strong with experience/exposure to P&L responsibilities.
