Job Description

The role of the Executive Media Strategist involves being a key point of contact for our clients, developing strong communication recommendations across all channels, paid, owned, and earned. You will be responsible for driving and leading a successful client relationship and a results-driven team. Bringing together the right people to deliver the highest quality of outputs for your client, end-to-end, ensuring deliverables are grounded in client priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Proven capability in managing others and highly collaborative
  • Passion for media and marketing
  • Up-to-date, media landscape knowledge (confidently able to articulate macroeconomic and consumer trends and forecast challenges/opportunities for clients)
  • Excellent communicator with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the patience to examine detail and create solutions
  • Results Driven. Passionate about delivering business results for clients, with the ability to identify and clearly articulate what's working and why
What Success Looks Like

In 3 months:

  • Established collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders and internal reports
  • A strong understanding of and can clearly articulate the agency and group proposition, core client processes, and our way of working
  • Immersed yourself in the team with an understanding of the status of all active and upcoming campaigns

In 6 months:

  • Demonstrated your ability to deliver on all aspects of the role in an efficient, effective, and proactive way
  • Strengthened your key stakeholder relationships to deliver great team work consistently

In 12 months:

  • Taking on greater ownership of the role – responsibility and volume
  • Building strong relationships with clients, representing the Wavemaker team appropriately, and ensuring that campaigns are delivered to the highest quality
  • Elevating your impact and influence within the business, with demonstrable benefits for the agency and our clients
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
