About This Role

As a Career Navigator, you will empower individuals to achieve their career goals by providing tailored support and guidance.

  • You will work closely with clients to understand their strengths, aspirations, and challenges, offering collaborative coaching and linkages to meaningful employment opportunities.
  • Utilize your knowledge of business operations to identify skill gaps and provide staffing solutions that meet employer needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify and create sustainable career opportunities for clients, matching them to suitable roles based on their skills and interests.
  • Champion workforce diversity and inclusion, focusing on job seekers with disabilities or health conditions.
  • Engage with employers to address skill shortages through customized recruitment strategies.
  • Broker work experience to build participants' skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to enhance disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build relationships with employers and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote the organization as a trusted provider supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving career goals.
  • Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
  • Represent the organization's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centered practice.

About You:

Bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a positive impact. With experience or passion in employment services, you're confident in supporting people and guiding them towards meaningful careers.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services - desirable
  • Proven ability to meet performance metrics and manage workload effectively
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by individuals with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions
  • Skilled in providing individualized support and developing client-focused employment plans
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Current Driver's License - essential
