About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team in Guidepoint, a leading research enablement platform. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in expanding our reach with new and existing clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management. You will be responsible for assisting in building a pipeline of prospects across various industries, conducting outbound prospecting, and partnering with senior sales team members to schedule meetings with new prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building a pipeline of prospects across various industries
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads
  • Partner with senior sales team members to schedule meetings with new prospects
  • Meet designated prospecting and meeting targets through cold calling and other lead generation efforts
  • Develop a working knowledge of the primary research methods, competitor landscape, and institutional investment industry investment process and investment strategies

Requirements

  • Recognised Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere that is both fast-paced as well as results-oriented
  • Desire to work in a sales/lead generation role that is KPI and metrics-driven
