Operational Excellence Specialist

This key role plays a pivotal part in driving business strategy alignment with performance insights, empowering informed decision-making across the organisation.

About the Position

As a critical member of the EPM team, you will lead the design, configuration, and optimisation of Oracle EPM solutions, collaborating closely with finance, business, and IT stakeholders to deliver capabilities in planning, forecasting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle EPM solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable EPM solutions.
  • Support key enterprise planning activities including financial, workforce, capital, and cash flow planning, as well as consolidation, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Guide project teams from requirements gathering through to post-implementation support.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise performance reporting and streamline processes using EPM tools.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, advising senior leadership and project teams on EPM best practices.
About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Extensive experience in functional roles within Oracle EPM (Cloud and/or Hyperion suite).
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of the following modules: Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, Capital planning, Cash Flow Planning, ARCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting, EDMCS.
  • A strong understanding of financial, workforce, and capital planning, consolidation, reporting, and core accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading functional teams and delivering large-scale EPM implementations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and clearly convey ideas between business and technical stakeholders—from operational staff to senior executives.
