Event Delivery and Venue Operations Role

City of Newcastle is seeking a skilled Commissionaire (Security) to join our Civic Services team. As a Commissionaire (Security), you will be responsible for managing event delivery and venue operations at various City of Newcastle venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver events and take the lead role of event delivery and venue operations during functions where a Duty Manager is not rostered on.
  • Manage emergency situations, security, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the running of events.
  • Set up events, including audio-visual and staging, and provide cleaning and venue presentation services.
  • Undertake routine maintenance activities and provide all required event and security support for civic events.
