About the Role

A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Banking team at Bank of Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating, retaining, and managing a portfolio of clients for the Corporate Health or Property segment. This role offers a unique chance to build a customer base from scratch and develop tailored solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote our commercial product offerings to core clients, understanding their financial situations and objectives, and developing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed individual margin and volume targets, with a strong focus on book growth.
  • Drive the direction and performance of the Specialist, including client acquisition, volume/margin, and primary client relationship and satisfaction.
  • Partner with the Associate Relationship Manager to develop ongoing and quality client relationships.
  • Manage relationships with clients, leveraging internal resources to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
  • Work with clients' accountants to understand financial objectives and help implement plans to realize these objectives.

About You

We are seeking a candidate with previous experience in commercial lending, business development, and relationship building. You should have a passion for business development and relationship building, as well as experience in either the Health or Property commercial banking industry. Tertiary education is desirable, and you should be able to meet KPI targets.
