Project Implementation Manager

This role involves overseeing the coordination and implementation of activities for institutional mandates and registered products. Key responsibilities include acquiring a comprehensive understanding of requirements, documenting procedures, participating in calls regarding events, and supporting operational components.

You will work closely with internal and external parties to ensure seamless setup and onboarding of new clients and products. Additionally, you will assist with coordinating the finalization of legal agreements, input into launch dates with key stakeholders, and ensure a detailed understanding of internal operating models.

Successful candidates will have experience in client/product transitions activity with in-depth knowledge of client and product account structures. They will also possess familiarity with trading of derivatives, comprehensive knowledge of fund implementation activities, and ability to identify potential areas for errors and risk management.

A highly analytical and organized individual with a strong focus on servicing internal and external clients is required. You will be able to build and cultivate relationships with Investment and Distribution teams, as well as other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate implementation activity for institutional mandates and registered products
  • Assist with coordinating the finalisation of legal agreements for onboarding
  • Input into launch dates with key stakeholders considering complexity of product structure/changes and pending pipeline of events
  • Ensure a detailed understanding of the various internal operating models and articulate the impact of new client/product structures or changes to existing structure
  • Daily interaction and monitoring of deliverables from third-party providers
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of experience in client/product transitions activity with in-depth knowledge of client and product account structures
  • Familiarity with trading of derivatives, required documentation for trading of derivatives and operational impact of derivatives in client/product accounts
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of various fund implementation activities
  • Ability to identify potential areas for errors, risk, and the management of both
Preferred Skills:
  • An Investment Operations and/or client/product background
  • Experience in a role overseeing third-party providers
  • Ability to handle small projects and participate in larger business projects
