Youth Health Specialist

We are seeking a Youth Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide health services and support to young people aged 12-24, prioritizing marginalized, homeless, and at-risk individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information, assertive case management, support, group work, health education, brief intervention, and referral to appropriate services for young people and their significant others.
- Facilitate engagement by providing services that are relevant and responsive to the health needs of the target group.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Qualifications and/or experience in a relevant field, and a valid NSW driver's license.
- Experience working with and understanding of the issues affecting marginalized young people's access to health services.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating health promotion activities and/or community development projects.
- Knowledge of the health issues that impact on marginalized and at-risk young people aged 12-24 years.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with marginalized and at-risk young people both individually and in a group setting.
