Project Manager Opportunity

Our government client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and manage projects and activities in accordance with the objectives of the department.

  • Coordinate and monitor emerging issues, using strategic thinking skills to identify the impact of these on operational priorities and note any trends or patterns.
  • Rapidly synthesise, analyse and critique complex information to share with stakeholders.
  • Manage high volumes of work on a pre-determined schedule to produce quality products in line with legislative requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality papers, briefs, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Undertake and/or supervise project management, contract management, and procurement.
  • Contribute to organisational strategy and promote a collaborative workplace culture.

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, effectively problem-solve, and negotiate.

**Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

  • Graduate or postgraduate qualifications (highly desirable).
  • Experience in the health sector, government sector, and/or information management.
  • Project management and/or publishing skills.
