About the Marsden Park Campus

The Marsden Park campus is situated in a rapidly developing area of Sydney, characterized by a semi-rural environment and continuous growth. The school is poised for future expansion and has an ambitious strategic plan to enhance its offerings.

ACC Marsden Park serves students from K-12 in a co-educational setting. With over 1200 students enrolled on-campus and more than 700 participating in our Distance Education program, we are an evolving institution with a promising future.

This part-time role is expected to commence immediately.

Key Details:

  • Position: Student Transport Officer
  • Schedule: Weekdays, split shifts from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
  • Additional Opportunities: Occasional work during or after school hours for excursions and camps

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school along designated routes.
  • Create a positive and welcoming environment, fostering strong relationships with students.
  • Adhere to the assigned schedule, providing prompt and efficient service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to arrange transportation for staff and student excursions and camps.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for students.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
  • Safely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their safety and maintaining order.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Possession of a valid driver's licence (or willingness to obtain an MR driver's licence, with costs covered by ACC).
  • Excellent driving record and a strong commitment to passenger safety.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality to ensure timely transportation.
