This role is focused on delivering high-quality support to school-aged children with varying abilities.

We are seeking an individual who possesses strong leadership skills, team spirit, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young people with disabilities, have a commitment to dedication and motivation, and possess professionalism, open-mindedness, and a welcoming attitude.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience and/or knowledge in childcare, allied health, or disability support, as well as a drive to improve the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional care and support to children with diverse needs
  • Leveraging strong leadership skills to motivate and engage the team
  • Maintaining effective communication and interpersonal relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma qualifications in Children's Services, Disability Services, Health Studies, Individual Support, or relevant ACECQA-approved qualifications
  • Availability to work during term time and vacation care
  • Experience and/or knowledge working with young people with disabilities
  • Flexibility to work across various sites, including centre-based, in-home, and community-based programs
