Support Professional for Young People with Disabilities

Seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to provide direct care in a residential setting, promoting a safe and nurturing home-like environment for young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, fostering positive relationships with their families.
- Work collaboratively within a trauma-informed framework to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent qualification, or working towards completion.
- Valid Australian full driver's license for the state applied for.
- Australian working rights.
- Willingness to undergo a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check.
- Hold or willing to obtain Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid, and CPR qualifications.
- Availability to work varied shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers.
- Passion for supporting young people with disabilities and those who have experienced trauma.
