Cloud Operations Role

This position is for a Cloud Operations professional who will be responsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The role is Ops focused, involving monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud resources to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with cloud providers to manage and configure cloud resources, monitor performance and availability, set up automatic scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Optimize system performance through collaboration with hardware and software configurations.
  • Resolve problems at their root, identify failure patterns, and develop long-term solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient with automation using scripting languages such as Powershell and Bash.
  • Deep knowledge of supporting and managing AWS Cloud environments, using AWS native tools.
  • AWS services including VPCs, EC2, S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • Collaborative with business and technology stakeholders.
