Job Opportunity Overview
We're seeking a Procurement and Contracts Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of procurement and contract management outcomes.
As a Procurement and Contracts Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and managing multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry and tracking of procurement activity and contracts.
- Providing proactive administrative and operational support by monitoring procurement activity in the procurement mailbox.
- Maintaining records, reports, databases, and audit documents to ensure compliance with records management requirements and agency policies.
- Working within tight timeframes and changing deadlines to deliver priorities and workload.
Key Requirements for Success:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- Demonstrated experience working with financial management information systems.
- A high level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Well-developed communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external entities to achieve service delivery outcomes.
