Our client seeks a dedicated educator to provide in-home teaching services for children with diverse learning needs.

This role requires a passionate teacher who can confidently discuss a wide range of subjects and adapt to the child's unique learning style.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each child's specific requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the school to ensure seamless integration of school-based activities.
  • Utilize Australian curriculum guidelines for year levels 4-9, focusing on developing well-rounded students.
  • Provide additional support through after-hours sessions until 6pm, Monday-Thursday, to help the child achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education with special needs certification or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working with children who have special needs, such as ASD/ADHD.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing school-based programs for children with diverse needs.
  • A valid QLD Driver's license and current Working With Children Check (WWC) / Blue card.
