
Personalised Mental Health Support Specialist

Empowering individuals with disabilities and mental health-related illnesses to live independently in the community is at the forefront of our mission.
As a dedicated support worker, you will be working closely with a client who requires regular ongoing support. The roster available is from Monday to Saturday.
Key Requirements:
- A compassionate and empathetic individual who is confident in their ability to work with clients with complex mental health-related disabilities.
- Someone who can remain calm and patient in challenging situations, helping to de-escalate triggered behaviours and create a supportive environment.
- An individual who is proactive in encouraging clients to take an active role in their mental health recovery, promoting healthy lifestyles and social connections.
- A strong communicator who can confidently set boundaries and prioritise the client's needs, while maintaining a professional and respectful relationship.
Desirable Qualities:
- Proficiency in using technology, including phones, computers, and software applications.
- An interest in beauty or wellness would be highly valued.
- Relevant qualifications in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
- Possession of an unrestricted QLD driver's licence and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
- Excellent organisational skills, flexibility, and reliability, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records.
