Railway Safety Coordination Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring the implementation of effective safety interface coordination, guaranteeing compliance with rail safety laws and regulations.
- The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve key safety issues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement improvements to Safety Interface Agreements to ensure compliance with rail safety laws and regulations.
- Maintain and improve the interface register for UGL's operations.
- Organize regular meetings between key stakeholders and interfacing parties to discuss and resolve safety issues.
- Conduct onsite risk assessments and review existing Safety Interface Agreement Risk assessments.
- Conduct Internal SMS Audits and prepare reports identifying gaps and recommendations.
- Continuously improve the UGL Safety Management System.
Requirements:
- Engineering, Safety, Business or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Experience in rail safety or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of Rail Safety National Law and Regulations.
