About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Waste Management Operator to join our team in Mount Isa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a waste collection vehicle and servicing multiple customer sites on a daily basis.

Our fleet is comprised of safe, modern, and reliable vehicles, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops. You will enjoy family-friendly hours, with early starts (between 4-6am) and early finishes, as well as great pay rates, particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends.

The successful candidate will have a current HR license, side arm experience, and excellent rapport-building skills. They must also be able to structure runs efficiently and commit to JJ's Waste values and workplace diversity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a waste collection vehicle
  • Service multiple customer sites on a daily basis
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
Requirements
  • Current HR license
  • Side arm experience
