About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Highways and Civil Engineer to join our Sydney Highways Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of transport infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage throughout all stages of the project, including optioneering, strategic planning, conceptual design, detailed design, and construction support.
  • Undertake highways/civil design such as geometric layout, barriers, signage, and line markings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure on-time project execution.
  • Conduct quality reviews of design documentation and deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Civil Engineering / Construction Industry.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of transport infrastructure design principles and Australian standards (e.g. Austroads Guide to Road Design).
  • Passion for the transport industry.
