About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Cairns. As a key member of our Transport group, you will be responsible for delivering civil infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time.

You will work closely with diverse disciplines and experts in Geotechnical, Advisory, Aviation, Highways, Civil, Civil Structural and Digital Engineering throughout Northern Territory and Queensland, and across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver civil design projects to a high standard, within budget and on time;
  • Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work of a diverse range of projects;
  • Communicate and liaise with clients and authorities while delivering projects drawings and reports;
  • Develop and nurture relationships within AECOM and local industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and CPEng, RPEQ (or working towards);
  • 4+ years' experience with project management and technical delivery of civil infrastructure projects;
  • Familiarity with 3D modelling software such as 12D or Civil 3D in Civil Infrastructure projects;
  • Passion for delivering high quality, technical work;
  • Experience working in an Engineering consultancy will be an advantage.
