We are a leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. Our team of experts is dedicated to improving quality of life, and we are seeking a talented Senior Highways Engineer to join our core Civil Infrastructure business unit.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing selected designs and teams for projects or design elements to meet budget, time-frame, and quality targets. They will provide technical advice to project team members while building and maintaining effective relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage medium-scale, diverse project teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with other design teams and disciplines to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design of infrastructure and other land development projects.
  • Develop and implement digitally innovative design solutions for clients.
  • Promote and develop the technical capability of other team members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree-qualified engineering background with experience in civil design. You should have a strong knowledge of local design standards, including Austroads Guide to Road Design and specifications. Additionally, you will need to have experience in reviewing designs in 3D software and strong stakeholder management capability through effective communication.
