Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our taxation obligations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage corporate tax obligations, including income tax, FBT and GST/BAS returns.
  • Monitor and interpret new tax laws, implementing changes across the organisation as required.
  • Provide strategic advice on customs matters and identify opportunities to reduce indirect tax and duty costs.
  • Provide accurate tax provisions for corporate, local, and international employees.
  • Analyse market and industry trends, implementing tax strategies accordingly.
  • Manage relationships and operations with local banks, including oversight of payroll and bank transactions.
  • Liaise with the Australian Tax Office, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A CPA or CA qualification with a tertiary degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, compliance, and corporate tax obligations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex tax processes within a large corporate or multinational environment.
  • Excellent analytical, advisory, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to interpret financial statements and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and project management skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a drive to identify efficiencies and deliver cost savings.
