Job Title: Senior Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Advisor to join our team. As a Senior Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients

  • Manage client portfolios and drive relationships with clients across various industry specializations

  • Support complex and strategic tax projects, including tax controversy, US tax advisory services, goods and services tax, and real estate and infrastructure tax

  • Develop strategies for working as a team to solve complex tax technical questions and deliver on client timelines

  • Drive the use of technology to enhance compliance processes for clients and the wider tax business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Postgraduate academic qualifications such as an MBA or a Master's is highly regarded

  • Experience delivering tax advisory and compliance services gained in a professional services environment of a Big 4 accounting firm, a mid-tier firm, or a law firm

  • A good understanding of the Australian tax market with exposure to international markets

  • Use data analytics to provide relevant insights for decision-making purposes

  • Partner with clients to provide assistance with regulatory reviews, investigations, disclosures

  • Efficient with an eye for detail and have strong research skills and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills, with excellent business writing and Excel skills

  • Collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment

The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 85,700.00 including superannuation. Manager/Senior Manager/Director positions will receive a salary range above this in line with the salary bands for these positions.

A candidate's final salary will be determined based on the skills and experience that the candidate brings.
