Senior Accountant Role

The role is designed for a skilled professional who can deliver high-quality tax and advisory services to clients.

  • Manage and deliver advisory and tax accounting work across a diverse client base
  • Provide strategic advice in areas such as estate and succession planning, profit improvement, group restructuring, and asset acquisitions/disposals
  • Review and finalise financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and FBT returns
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants, delegating and reviewing their work
  • Build strong client relationships, acting as a proactive and trusted advisor

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality advisory and tax services to clients
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Providing guidance and support to junior accountants

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Business services experience within a Chartered Firm
  • Strong technical skills in preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals, and SMSFs
  • Direct client interaction and stakeholder management experience
  • CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) with a Commerce/Accounting degree
