We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our team at Mojo Recruit. As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all business activities at our Bunbury Plant, including harvesting, purchasing contracts, production, and consumer sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee consumer sales and implement strategies to grow current business
  • Manage purchase and supply contracts relevant to WA business, including maintenance of raw material contracts
  • Monitor and review profitability of all products at Bunbury, maintain profit and loss analysis
  • Actively pursue objectives of the Chain of Custody (CoC) policy
  • Implement marketing strategies - pricing, customer service, advertising
  • Enforce 100% compliance with Koppers Safety, Health & Environment Management policies/procedures, resulting in culture change
  • Set up and maintain operating systems, ensuring products meet specifications - delivered on time at the right quantity
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements
  • Continually develop site skill base via training, succession planning, and talent management
  • Prepare and submit capital projects for inclusion in the program
  • Undertake Site Management Representative requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a management role, with strong leadership skills (similar industry preferred)
  • Studies/qualifications in Management highly regarded
  • Quality Systems Management & experience with CoC & Security Policies
  • Experience in Timber Preservation Process Planning & Management preferred
  • Knowledge of the Industry & Markets KWP operates in
  • Cost Centre Accounting & Environmental Planning & Management experience
  • Competency in Industrial Relations planning & management
  • Knowledge of Best Practice training & development programs
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality & integrity
  • Sound mechanical understanding
  • Strong knowledge of quality, environment & safety standards
